We are currently seeking a Project Management Officer to join our team and lead the Project Management operations, tasks and activities for a Digital Marketing Agency.

Technical Knowledge & Skills Required

Advanced English Knowledge: upper intermediate, advanced or proficient.

Strong and verifiable Project Management background and experience: At least two years of working with traditional Project Management (Waterfall) and Agile Methodologies.

Proficient in Project Management tools: Like timelines, Gantt charts, task creation, ticketing systems, Kanban.

Strong Team Leading background and experience: At least two years of experience creating and following up on scalable, replicable processes and coaching other PMs under their supervision, and also, aligning them with other departments within the organization.

Verifiable Experience in Customer Service: Experience communicating with clients regarding their requirements.

Technical background managing website development processes: Knowledge of databases, web technologies, hosting solutions, WordPress.

Experience with establishing policies and guidelines: This also includes communicating them within the organization and following up.

Soft Skills Required

Professionalism: Professional attitude and ethical behavior

Communication: Solid written and verbal communication skills. Prone to ask in case of needed answers to carry out daily responsibilities.

Proactiveness: Ability to be resourceful and have initiative when/if issues arise or in case of low activity flow.

Team management: Translating client requests and Digital Marketing request to the web development team.

Organization skills and attention to detail: Ability to self-organize given activities and keep a thorough record of tasks, pointers and process updates.

Risk identification: Ability to identify pain points, bottlenecks, scope creeps and process improvement opportunities.

Prioritzation skills: Ability to identify and establish priorities. This also includes the ability to assign priorities.

Compliance: Ability to comply when necessary. This means, follow orders or specific instructions if needed.

Keen to learnship: Ability and disposition to pick up quickly on new industries, clients and procedures that our company handles, as well as our different production departments.

Desireable Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of additional project management tools: User stories and burndown chart.

Knowlede of additional web development processes: Communication technologies, Integration and automation solutions, security, routing and networking.

Main Responsibilities of This Position:

General project management: Project creation, follow-up, closing, archiving, task assignment; Budget control; Timeline control; Resources control; Client’s expectations management; Update clients, operations team and team members on the project progress, Manage project roadblocks.

Supervise, coach and support the project management team.

Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures that align the PMO with the company’s business objectives.

‣ Participate in identifying and implementing system improvements and operational efficiency.

Develop, distribute and follow up on guidelines and procedures related to project management and general operations improvement within the company.

Tend to change requests for clients under a maintenance subscription: Regularly follow up on routine maintenance activities; create, assign and follow-up on bugs and requests.

Offer great customer service.

Work Environment

‣ You will be required to comply to work on Eastern Standard Time (EST), which means that we require availability from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST but can be flexible.
