Hybrid location: working from home and our Gosforth office
Permanent Full Time (37.5 hpw)

This is a brilliant opportunity for you join us as our Governance Business Partner. Helping to maintain a strong governance environment, you’ll take responsibility for Board, Subsidiary and Committee meeting management. Helping to create agendas to ensure we focus on the crucial and relevant items, supporting governance policy development, and maintaining key registers and legal and regulatory return processes.
Collaboration in this role is key, ensuring good governance and developing a close working relationship with Executives, Board members and Committee Chairs acting as a key point of contact.
About you
You’ll have awareness of the principles of effective governance, risk mitigation and risk management, applying this experience in support of boards and committees.
Ability to co-ordinate and quality assess Board papers with a high degree of accuracy and to a high quality of presentation.
Experience of working effectively with senior figures, exercising discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters, and be able to deliver difficult messages with diplomacy and tact

Working hours
Hours are full time 37.5 hours per week, over 5 days Monday to Friday, taking advantage of our agile ways of working. We are also happy to discuss other working options should you be looking for more flexibility.
