Job Description

What is the opportunity?

In this role you will Lead the Regional Portfolio comprising of the Bahamas, Cayman and Turks and Caicos with responsibility for Facility ensuring that approved CRE Standards and Policies are introduced and followed. You will also assist the Transactions Team as required for new leases and lease extensions including securing local signatures and assist Procurement Department with the negotiation of all Contracts, ensuring that best rates and terms are achieved. You will also be required to collaborate and partner with Regional Caribbean Senior Management Team to implement Facility Management strategies, processes and disciplines to achieve overall business success.

What will you do?

  • Provide complete facility management services following Corporate Real Estate Caribbean Facilities Management Playbooks and Guides
  • Prepare Annual Capital Budget Estimates for Capital and Operating Expenditures
  • Track all Facilities Related spend and report to Senior Manager Facilities, Caribbean and Director, Caribbean on a monthly basis
  • Management of all Facilities Work Order Requests using Corrigo System and issue POs and facilitate payment of Facilities Management invoices with Accounts Payable per approved Delegation of Authority.
  • Develop and implement cost savings strategies and track cost savings and cost avoidance in a monthly report
  • Leverage expertise and knowledges of all premises to support projects and strategy and support the business platforms for Occupancy planning requirements working with the Corporate Real Estate Occupancy Planning Center of Excellence
  • Provide advice and counsel to all RBC Business Units on premises needs and problems arising from either projects or routine facility operations
  • Management and completion of all Preventative Maintenance activities for CRE managed assets including monthly reporting
  • Assist Business Unit with the identification of and establishing premises requirements, provide cost estimates, co-ordinate PAR preparation and process for approval
  • Support on all Project related activities as required.

What do you need to succeed?


  • University Degree or equivalent experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Facilities Management, construction details, Project Management, estimating and accounting in order to maintain the portfolio including the branch network
  • Communication skills to deal with the various professionals and tradesmen in foreign countries
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products is a plus, as well as other data management tools within real estate.
  • Experience related to strategic relationship management
