Full Time; 35 hrs per week (Job Share and Secondment can be considered)

Fixed Term; 2 Years

Are you a highly organised and experienced programme coordinator and used to working in a complex fast-paced environment? We are seeking a driven, motivated and adaptive individual who understands the importance of research in an institution helping to make the world a better place.

The Opportunity

Our Growing Research Together programme is about to start a new phase of activities which needs an experienced coordinator at its heart. The post holder will be supporting a programme aiming to improve university research support. You will be the glue that keeps the programme function ticking and will work with colleagues in the GRT team, and across the university to ensure that this change programme delivers its objectives.

Your Skills And Attributes For Success

  • previous experience and track-record of supporting complex programmes, projects, initiatives or departments particularly within the higher education sector
  • outstanding organisation, planning and coordination skills with technical experience of using tools to support coordination and the management of information
  • experience of working in a team and with people from different professional disciplines – including supporting senior staff
  • good written and excellent oral communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • initiative, judgment, and willingness to resolve our day-to-day challenges independently, with a proactive approach to finding solutions
  • highly developed time-management skills, with applied experience of dealing with conflicting demands and prioritising workload in a changing and fast-paced environment.
