We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Advisor to join the Recruitment team at Yorkshire Water.

This is a full time, permanent opportunity, the role is hybrid with an expectation of working from our fantastic offices in Leeds up to 2 days per week.

What will the role involve?

This is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation and lead and support the end to end recruitment life cycle for operational areas of the business and manage all the Tech roles for the business. Working with our third part Managed Service Provider (MSP), ensuring we have the right people in the right roles at the right time.

You will work closely with operational managers and the wider HR team to plan resourcing activity and build talent pipelines that reflect the need and direction of the business. You will be responsible for the sourcing of candidates and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process. You will work effectively with hiring managers in the business, ensuring they experience a seamless, efficient recruitment process. You will provide expert advice and coaching on all aspects of attraction, selection and retention of high quality candidates.

What skills are we looking for?

Experience of using an applicant tracking system to manage the end to end recruitment process

Good partnering, consulting and influencing skills, able to work with a range of key stakeholders and Managed Service Providers

Evidence of using creative sourcing methods, particularly for hard to fill roles

Understanding of relevant employment legislation and equal employment opportunity best practice

Up to date understanding of all aspects of the end to end recruitment life cycle and the current market conditions

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Experience in managing projects

Good knowledge of direct sourcing methods (LinkedIn, CV search websites and job boards)

Able to work to tight targets, including time to hire and direct sourcing and previous experience working in a fast paced and reactive environment

Used multiple selection methods including, but not limited to; SHL, Competency Interviews, Assessment Centres, Job simulations etc.
